Best Syndra Skin: Ranked From Worst to the Best

League of Legends universe is enormous with many powerful champions. The one that often stands out is Syndra. Once, a child who wanted to learn how to use and control her powers was betrayed by her master. He feared she will become evil and restrained her.

Ironically enough, she figured what was happening and formed dark spheres of energy made out of her feelings of betrayal. She yields incredible power through them and destroys anyone who tries to control her. But we’re here to see how she looks like while doing so. Continue reading to find out what is the best Syndra skin.

8. Queen of Diamonds Syndra

Queen of Diamonds Syndra

Inspired by classic game cards, Queen of Diamonds Syndra is a part of the Highstakes group. Ezreal, Morderkaiser, Shaco and Twisted Fate keep her company and they’re all seen in the splash art.

It costs 750 RP and is her cheapest skin. That comes with some disadvantages though. She doesn’t have any new animations or sound effects. Furthermore, there are minimal changes to her appearance. She wears a red and white dress. Her red crown looks very familiar to Maleficent so she’s the perfect choice for Disney fans.

7. Justicar Syndra

Justicar Syndra

In complete contrast to her lore, Justicar Syndra is the embodiment of justice. Additionally, she craves knowledge and guides Arclights. Accordingly, her whole appearance changed. Instead of gloomy dark-colored clothes, she wears bright colors.

Her outfit is combined out of red and yellow colors. Her orbs got changed too, from purple to yellow. There are no new animations but the updated palette makes all of her spells look better.

6. Star Guardian Syndra

Star Guardian Syndra

It’s rare to find more recent skins so low on our skin tier lists but Riot blundered with this one. Appearance-wise they turned her into a cartoon character and kept most of the original skin. The biggest change is her orbs which now look like purple ball monsters. She even turns into once while recalling.

Star Guardian Syndra costs 1350 RP and no one except OTP’s should look to buy it. There are better alternatives for a much cheaper price.

5. Atlantean Syndra

Atlantean Syndra

Atlantean Syndra featuring blue colors. Like many citizens of the famous Atlantis, she is skilled in magic. In the splash art, you can see her orbs circling Syndra inside a typhoon. The skin costs 975 RP and is excellent for its price.

There are several new animations and sound effects. For instance, there is a splash around the spot her Q and W hit. Furthermore, you can spot a small wave after she uses her E ability Scatter the Weak. They’re also a bit tougher to spot giving you a slight advantage over your opponents.

4. SKT T1 Syndra

SKT T1 Syndra

Made after God himself, SKT T1 was released after the team’s victory in the 2016 World’s. Faker chose her to be his 3rd skin, after Ryze in 2015 and Zed in 2013. The colors on this skin resemble SKT T1’s logo and team uniforms.

Syndra is blue with a golden red outfit. Since it costs 1350 RP there are also several improvements in regards to the base skin. SKT T1’s logo can be seen once the orb hits the ground. In addition to that, they’re blue with a yellow border. Lastly, during her recall animation players can see Faker’s signature.

3. Snow Day Syndra

Snow Day Syndra

Number 3 on our Syndra tier list is a skin that is often known as pay to win type of skin. It was released in 2015 and has been controversial ever since. In terms of looks, Syndra is a human dressed for cold weather. She wears a coat, boots, scarf and even a hat.

Starting with her recall, she builds a small ice statue of herself that melts once she reaches the fountain. Her auto attacks are changed with small icicles while a big snowflake can be seen on her Q and W. After using her ultimate ability Unleashed Power the orbs turn into icicles before hitting her enemies.

Sadly, there’s one downside to this skin. It’s a legacy skin so it’s not always available for purchase. Instead, players can get it from Loot or Masterwork chests.

2. Pool Party Syndra

Pool Party Syndra

After visiting the cold weather, it’s time to go to the warmer climates. Pool Party Syndra is ready for summer adventures in her purple one-piece swimsuit. The orbs are turned into volleyballs which she uses to fight her foes.

There are many details when it comes to this skin. Small drops of water are always visible around her orbs. In the recall animation, she plays toss with a crab who accidentally hits her. Afterward, she does the most Syndra thing ever and smacks the poor crab with the power of a goddess.

When using the spell Scatter the Weak players can see ocean bottom full of starfishes and shells. This awesome skin costs 1350 RP and is one of Syndra’s best skins.

1. Withered Rose Syndra

Withered Rose Syndra

Most of our previous skins were positive and friendly, well this one is the complete opposite. Her appearance oozes with bad intentions. She has a black and purple dress accompanied by silver hair. Furthermore, her orbs are replaced with roses.

As she is dragging them or hitting her enemies with them, they drop petals on Summoner’s Rift. It’s one of the rare skins in which we can see the appearance of another champion. Zed shows up for a brief moment during her recall before disappearing and leaving Syndra in despair.

Truth be told, the animations are not the most detailed ones. But it’s all made up of awesome sound effects. No other skin comes even close to what Riot accomplished here. Her E sounds like doom itself and the ultimate isn’t far away from it itself. That coupled with numerous chromas it’s easy to see why it’s the best Syndra skin. It costs 1350 RP and we think you won’t look back once you buy it.

Since it’s not possible to explain how her spells sound like, you can see it yourself in the video below.
